Blood Line Of Jesus |

In the 1940s, several of the lost Gospels were found, amongst others 'the Dead Sea Scrolls' and later 'the Nag
Hammadis scriptures'.These turned out to be parts of the canon that had been excluded from the Bible during the
4th century by the Fathers of the Church who had their own view of what Christianity was. People from very early
Christian congregations had hidden these scriptures in clay pots in the hope that they would one day be
discovered. |

Joseph's "history" begins and ends in the Gospels (late 1st- 2nd c.). Yet his name has been a prominent factor in the apocryphal
Eastern Christian tradition and in Western romance. My premise that the burial shroud of Jesus was the original object
underlying the legends of the Holy Grail cannot be absolutely proved, but the association of both with Joseph of Arimathea and
the absence of any other scenario universally accepted by scholars suggest the plausibility of the premise.

The Roman Catholic Church is the oldest and largest Christian church in the world. The word Catholic means "universal." They
also claim to be the true Apostolic Church. The Apostolic Church means the church of the Apostles. In the beginning this was
true. But, the church had a different name. It was the universal Christian Church. This church cease to exist when it was
Romanized. Pagan ideas and beliefs were integrated into the pure Christian Church. This was, in part, responsible for the
Reformation with the Roman Catholic Church, which came centuries later. Even so, most of these pagan ideas were and still
are a part of the Protestant Church as well. |

The so called Testimonium Flavianum. This is the only direct discussion of Jesus to be found in the writings of Josephus. Unfortunately,
the text as we have it in extant copies of Josephus' Antiquities appears to have been dramatically re-written from a Christian point of view.
(The writings of Josephus were brought down to us from antiquity not by the Jewish community, but by the Christians). The second column
contains an Arabic quotation of the Josephus passage that has a much less Christian flavor. Some scholars have argued that the Arabic
version has a more likely claim to originality. |
